Semilong .org hunt for flytippers in Semilong Northampton When seen we will publish photographs and videos of flytippers disposing of their rubbish on the streets of our community.

Our aim is to stop our Semilong Northampton neighbourhood looking like a rubbish tip.

Litter is a permanent problem in our neighbourhood and despite it costing thousands to clear up, some people think it is still alright to throw there litter on the ground.

Our aim is to make these litter louts think twice about using Semilong Northampton streets as a litter bin and to reduce the amount of litter that our residents have to put up with.

Map of reported crime in Semilong Northampton As this map of reported crime shows, our Semilong Northampton neighbourhood is a crime hotspot, with the crime rate figures never falling below the HIGH mark.

Our aim is to help to reduce that figure by highlighting the publiscised crime in our neighbourhood.

We will also support the Semilong Neighbourhood Watch Scheme.

SEMILONG.ORG attends meetings both locally and nationally to gain perspectives on what is important in or could affect our Semilong Northampton neighbourhood.

We attend events to meet people and to record scenes of disasters like the recent fire at Alpha Pallets.

We also listen to residents to hear their concerns and to act on them by highlighting the issues they are faced with in the world wide forum of the internet.

We also sometimes act in a more direct way to solve the issues like the mini-motorbike anti-social nuisance recently which resulted in Northamptonshire Police arresting a male and confiscating the mini-motorbike.

SEMILONG.ORG also trawl through the internet daily to pick out articles which would impact on or be of interest to our local community.

Resulting in the SEMILONG.ORG group of residents producing this neighbourhood website which is updated regularly with articles, images and video and is truly relevant to today's Semilong Northampton residents or of anyone looking at neighbourhood issues or Northampton generally.
